Abstract:The traditional indigenous houses in Inner Mongolia are a type of houses formed in the process of fusion of the nomadic grassland culture and the agrarian culture of the Central Plains under the background of the immigration culture of "Going West", and their structure is representative and typical. Taking Hubao region located in the middle of Inner Mongolia as the research object, through the geography and natural environment, as well as the cultural penetration of multi-angle systematic analysis of the formation of the background of traditional indigenous dwellings, sorting out the traditional indigenous dwellings structure type, exploring the selection of materials, materials, construction techniques and other aspects of the characteristics of the building technology update to explore and prospect, so as to provide reference for the continuation and protection of the traditional culture and traditional dwellings.
