Research on Defense System of Civilian Fort-type Settlements

摘要:

本文在历史文献资料和实地考察的基础上，还原了民建堡寨聚落防御体系，发现其内部存在较为严密的社会组织制度，并指出防御体系可分为外层 - 堡寨间联合防御体系、中层 - 堡寨聚落外围防御体系和内层 - 堡寨聚落内部防御体系三个层级。最后总结民建堡寨聚落防御特征有三：乡守之法全民皆兵，防御为主攻击为辅，体系复杂胜率较低。

Abstract:

Based on historical documents and fieldwork, this paper restores the defense system of civilian fort-type settlements and finds that there is a tight social organization system within them, and points out that the defense system can be divided into three levels: the outer layer - the joint defense system among settlements, the middle layer - the outer defense system of fort-type settlements, and the inner layer - the internal defense system of forttype settlements. Finally, it is concluded that there are three characteristics of the defense of civilian fort-type settlements: the method of civilian defense is universal, defense is the main focus of attack, and the system is complex with a low victory rate.
