Abstract:The human settlement environment space at the southern foot of the East Tianshan Mountains is concentrated in an oasis in the Hami Basin. From the original settlement space form in the independent gully system of the southern Tianshan Mountains, the spatial pattern of“three cities adjoining”was formed in the late Qing Dynasty. This article starts from the layout of the three cities of Hami in the historical spatial pattern, based on the interpretation of ancient books and documents, information induction, and field research, through morphological theories and spatial graphic analysis methods to sort out and summarize the elements of construction and the overall spatial order, To refine the construction structure and characteristics, to discover and interpret the wisdom of landscape space construction contained in the representation of the city's morphology, and to provide relevant basis for the study of regional traditional landscape construction.
