Abstract:The combined effects of global warming and rapid urbanization have led to a severe summer temperature rise in Lingnan. Due to the current situation of mixed old and new construction and dense construction environment, historical and cultural blocks in Lingnan are facing climate and environmental problems such as poor ventilation and severe heat island effect. Strengthening ventilation is an effective way to alleviate the high temperature in summer. This paper selects the Wende Road block in Guangzhou as the research object, uses fluid dynamics software to analyze the current situation of the wind environment in the block, identifies areas with ventilation problems in the block, proposes ventilation design strategies from the three aspects of buildings, streets, and green spaces, and uses fluid dynamics simulation to compare before and after renovation The ventilation status of the core space nodes verifies the feasibility of the ventilation design strategy and provides a reference for the climate-adaptive design of the protection and renewal of historical and cultural blocks in Lingnan.
