Abstract:Tianluo Mountain Ancient Castle is located in Yongding District, Zhangjiajie, Hunan Province. It was built in the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty and is a typical military defensive structure in the ethnic minority areas of western Hunan influenced by the Qing Dynasty's“Gai Tu Gui Liu”policy. The ancient castle consists of two parts: the“outer city wall”and the“inner castle buildings”and its overall appearance is well-preserved.
