Abstract:Xingguo Temple of Qianfo Mountain in Jinan has a long history and cultural deposits. It is one of the 142 key temples of Chinese Buddhism in China. By studying the existing inscriptions and related documents, this paper explored the co-construction and compatibility of Xingguo Temple's spatial layout and mountain environment from four aspects, including historical evolution, site selection, overall layout and courtyard construction, and summarized the layout techniques of mutual reference between cliff wall and temple, as well as the integration of culture and landscape, which could provide references for the space construction of modern mountain landscape architecture.
