Abstract:Yangwa Gray Ridge is a traditional ancient roofing practice, which truly reflects the life of the people at that time, and is worth restoring and preserving as historical information and characteristics of the times.Nowadays, it is relatively well preserved, few have not been renovated, and there are few records of traditional practices, and when it is restored or repaired in recent years, there have been some improper practices in the industry, which is bound to bring confusion, misunderstanding and misdirection to future cultural relics conservation workers.Through the research and practice in recent years, this study summarizes a relatively complete set of process operation process and technical points, which can be used as a reference for the design and construction personnel of the same type of project, so that this traditional practice can be inherited in the future and this roof can be better protected.
