Abstract:With a focus on the construction of soundscape in Lingnan gardens in Qing dynasty, this paper took Zhang Weiping's “Ting Song Yuan”(Listening to the Glyptostrobus pensilis Garden) as a research object, through the investigation of historical materials such as Zhang Nan Shan Quan Ji and Pan Yu Xian Xu Zhi, firstly, the key conditions of constructing soundscape were summarized. Secondly, the main soundscape resources of “Ting Song Yuan” were sorted out. Finally, the construction techniques were analyzed from two aspects: getting rid of vulgar sound and borrowing good sound, in the hope of exploring the construction idea and method of Lingnan garden in Qing Dynasty with the typical appreciating theme of listening to the sound of Glyptostrobus pensilis.
