Abstract:The garden of Xinjiang college in the Qing dynasty is a created typical traditional mountainous garden and local cultural landscape. There is a stylized and typed feature in garden landscape. This paper first analyzes the garden cultural landscape in the Picture of Xinjiang Academy in Tongzhi of the Qing Dynasty and completes the translation of traditional drawings in order to restore the cultural landscape form of the ancient Xinjiang Academy. Secondly,based on the schema language theory, this paper extracts the landscape schema language through characters, words, phrases and sentences, analyzes the cultural implication, spatial relations and structural logic contained in the schemata, and looks for the cultural archetypes and landscape paradigms contained in them. Then it annotates the ancients' landscape construction intention and design method through the analysis of the grammatical rules of the garden landscape of Xinjiang Academy. Finally, the cultural structure of the academy is studied by analyzing the contextual expression of the garden landscape of Xinjiang Academy. This study is of great significance for the inheritance and reference of traditional cultural landscape and contemporary landscape design, and also provides new methods and research ideas for the study of contemporary traditional local cultural landscape.
