Abstract:Zide Garden was originally a private royal garden granted by Emperor Yongzheng to the seventeen younger brothers, the "Prince of GuoJun". It was named "Zide Garden". There are few historical records about the garden here. Researchers have different interpretations of the exact historical location of the garden, and there has been a lack of clear and powerful evidence. Based on the seven records about Zide Garden found in the Yangshi Lei archives of the National Library, this paper roughly sorts out the historical evolution stages of Zide Garden in the Qing Dynasty by sorting out the drawing sequence of the Yangshi Lei historical archives of the related styles of Zide Garden, taking the changes of water system as a clue. In addition, in combination with the existing satellite images, according to the morphological comparison of the water system remains, it is further confirmed that the historical location of Zide Garden is the current location of the National School of Administration (South College of the Party School).
