Abstract:Vaisravana Temple Peony Garden was a famous peony flower market in Luoyang in Northern Song Dynasty. It is the only public garden with detailed records not only in Luoyang Famous Gardens, but also in Northern Song Dynasty. It has great cultural and historical value. Based on the records of Luoyang Famous Gardens, the paper digs and traces the documents and focuses on the aspects of the garden background, the garden name and the garden site. By examining the development process of Vaisravana Temple Garden under the background of the times, the paper distinguishes the four possible sites. It is speculated that the garden may be located in Xuanjiaofang, which was originally part of Anguo temple, dedicated to worshiping Vaisravana and gradually developed into a peony production base integrating cultivation, production, exhibition, sales, recreation, supporting living and other functions.
