Abstract:With the synchronic deduction of contemporary health, national feelings and cultural self-confidence, the re-understanding and interpretation of the mental ecological mechanism of classical gardens is one of the important contents of landscape architecture theoretical study in the new era. The classical gardens, which were created based on traditional Chinese culture and philosophy, contain rich methods and mechanisms for creating healthy gardens. The naming of the landscape is the most distinctive carrier with Chinese characteristics. Standing at the highest peak of the times of national and cultural confidence, this paper takes the names of Chengde Mountain Resort as examples, and analyzes the characteristics of cultural depth and mental ecology. This paper takes the textual interpretation and semantic transformation of representative names such as the names of plaques and couplets as the breakthrough point. On the basis of the typological analysis of naming methods, this paper expounds Chinese spirits and cultural connection such as diligence and self-improvement, using anecdotes of the past to allude to the present, and spiritual transcendence. The research results have reference value for the shaping of contemporary Chinese landscape culture and are also valuable for contemporary landscape construction.
