Abstract:There are a large number of traditional buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties to the Republic of China in the Hexi Corridor area, and this paper selects the Dajing Caishen Pavilion, which has a high achievement in architectural technology and art, as the research object, and uses the method of analogy analysis to explore the characteristics of traditional architecture construction in the area and explore its source. The study found that the beam structure of the Caishen Pavilion was close to the northern official style of the Qing Dynasty, while the local style of Hexi using Huabandaigong(花板代栱), the roof was similar to the craftsmanship of the Hehuang area, reflecting the association between the traditional architecture of the Hexi Corridor and the northern official-style architecture and the Hehuang architecture. It is further pointed out that the emergence of this phenomenon is related to the population flow caused by the reclamation and trade exchanges of immigrants in the Ming and Qing dynasties.
