Abstract:Jietai Temple, built in the Tang Dynasty, was an important Buddhist temple in the western suburbs of Beijing during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The temple not only has characteristics in terms of architectural layout and garden landscape, but is also the core of the surrounding natural scenic spots. Since the establishment of the temple, it has been an important place for religious activities in all dynasties, and after the Ming Dynasty, it has become an important place for folk activities in the western suburbs of Beijing. Through the textual research of historical documents, the article restores the historical evolution and architectural layout of Jietai Temple, and analyzes its garden landscape and related tourism activities.
