Abstract:Sutra painting is a unique Chinese Buddhist art derivative that graphically expresses the content of Buddhist scriptures. It is convenient for people to understand the meaning of Buddhism more intuitively. This art form has experienced hundreds of years of development and changes from its appearance to its appearance. It has changed to a certain extent in terms of picture content, picture theme, picture size and picture layout. Dunhuang Sutra painting usually refers to a large painting in which the main contents of a certain or even several Buddhist sutras are organized into a complete and clear primary and secondary painting in Dunhuang murals. This paper will study the spatial layout and development characteristics of the Buddhist temple space in Dunhuang Sutra painting.
