Abstract:The ZiKu pagoda is a kind of small building where burning used calligraphy paper in ancient times. Yanting is known as the "first county of ZiKu pagodas", but there are few detailed studies about the ZiKu pagoda group of Yanting. In this study, 3D laser scanning was used to survey and collect data on thirty-two ZiKu pagodas in Yanting. This article summarizes the ZiKu pagoda into three categories: classic, simplified and pavilion style, among which the classic is the mainstream and unique of the ZiKu pagodas in Yanting, and its biggest feature is that there are drum stones layer by layer. Besides, it focuses on the study of the shape characteristics of each part of the classic ZiKu pagoda, and accoding to these datas, they were classified and summarized. It is hoped that through the above analysis of the shape of the ZiKu pagoda inYanting, it will provide a reference for its protection and restoration.
