Abstract:Based on field research and analysis of typical settlements and dwellings in Huizhou built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and combined with relevant ancient literature, through the comprehensive analysis of House (building entity) and dwelling (living life) , the combination of house environment and outside environment, this paper reveals that the local ancestors faced the severe contradiction of man-land relationship in history, on the premise of ensuring agricultural production and protecting the natural environment, the experiences and ideas of saving intensive land and building a satisfactory living environment are explored.
