Abstract:The plum specialized garden is a special garden with the theme of traditional Chinese flowers which have unique ornamental and cultural values. As an important element in the special garden, architecture plays a very important role in the reflection of the landscape effect and theme atmosphere. This paper investigates the plum specialized garden in the south of the Yangtze River, statistics the architectural style, volume and layout of the park, and analyzes the relationship between architecture and plum blossoms. At present, there are still a lot of classical garden elements such as white-walled gray tiles, cornices brackets, and decorative openwork window in plum specialized garden architecture. The combination of plum blossoms and landscaping also uses many traditional landscaping techniques such as Frame view, barrier view, spot view, but at the same time, it is gradually applying new materials, exaggerated architectural shapes, modern geometric patterns. How to integrate these elements into and combine traditional culture with modern gardens is worth trying.
