众所周知，古城襄阳是中国历史文化名城之一，但它在全国132个国家级历史名城中，有着自己独特的个性特色与价值，不仅充满着许多传奇的故事，而且保存至今的古城墙及护城河体系，也独具魅力。这里既是汉代光武帝刘秀出世立身，据此发迹建立东汉，中兴汉室的龙兴之地，又是号称“三代下第一人”的蜀相诸葛亮卧龙出山，以著名的《隆中对》开启三国文化的肇始地。不仅如此，尤令人惊叹的是，襄阳古城自古以来就是一处历代兵家必争之地，华中军事战略要塞和商贸交通要冲，还是一座雄姿壮丽，风光秀雅，被唐代诗人王维誉为“襄阳好风日”的山水城市。要把这座古城真正保护好，关键是要研究清楚它在历史长河中形成的特色与价值。这是文化遗产保护的重点所在。

Abstract:

As we all know, the ancient city of Xiangyang is one of the most famous historical and cultural cities in China. However, it has its own unique characteristics and values among the 132 national historic cities in China, and the preservation of the ancient city walls and moat system, but also unique charm. It was the birthplace of Liu Xiu, Emperor Guangwu of the Han Dynasty, who made his fortune in the Eastern Han Dynasty, in the Longxing area of the Han Dynasty, and the birthplace of Zhuge Liang Wolong, Sichuan's prime minister, who became known as the “First person under three generations”, with the famous“Longzhong pair” to open the three countries culture origin. What's more, the ancient city of Xiangyang has been a battleground since ancient times, a strategic military fortress in central China and a major hub of trade and commerce, the landscape city was praised as a “Good day for Xiangyang” by Tang dynasty poet Wang Wei. To really protect this ancient city, the key is to study its characteristics and value in the long history. This is the focus of cultural heritage protection.
