在 19 世纪末的中西文化碰撞中，“中体西用”成为我国知识阶层对待外来事物的主流观点。作为这一时期兴建的宅邸院落，何园的造园者将近代化的居住建筑融合于传统化的园林空间之中。通过对其建构特点的解读，进一步剖析近代化建筑影响下的中国传统造园观念的实践手法，对于理解传统园林理念与异质文化下的本土建筑思想表达具有独特意义。

Abstract:

In the collision of Chinese and Western culture at the end of 19th Century, " Chinese Essence and Western Utility " has become the mainstream view of knowledge class in our country towards foreign things.
