古桥因其有别于一般古建筑的建构方法和使用功能，一直是建筑遗产中比较特殊的类型。随着城市化进程以及地理和社会条件变化，有些古桥所获的关注相对不足并面临着被拆除的危险。本文从上海地区现存古桥的历史发展脉络入手，对其古桥数量、分布和保存现状进行了归纳整理，进而对其历史文化、类型结构、装饰艺术等特征进行研究，为上海古桥和传统水乡风貌的保护奠定基础。

Abstract:

The ancient bridge has always been a special type of architectural heritage because of its different construction method and use function from the general ancient buildings. With the process of urbanization and changes in geographical and social conditions, some ancient bridges have received relatively little attention and face the danger of being demolished. Based on the historical development of the existing ancient bridges in Shanghai area, this paper sums up and arranges the quantity, distribution and preservation of the ancient bridges, and then studies their historical culture, type structure, decorative art and other characteristics, it lays a foundation for the protection of ancient bridges and traditional watersheds in Shanghai.
