Abstract:Tianxin Park in Changsha is the first city park in Hunan Province and one of the birthplaces of children's Park in early modern China. In the development of Changsha Modern City, it has experienced the historical stages of“Creation”, “Expansion”, “Transformation”, “Stagnation” and“Rebirth”, its vicissitudes are deeply influenced by political, economic, ideological and aesthetic factors, and in this process its characteristic-the heritage value of historical gardens is finally highlighted. The historical change of Tianxin Park is a footnote of the urban development of Changsha, and the Urban Development of Changsha is the epitome of the urban development of modern China. Combing this changing process enables us to examine our urban construction practice from a historical perspective: What have we insisted on and what have we lost. The construction and maintenance of the historical gardens should not be confined to“Discussing the matter according to the facts”, and it needs more systematic thinking in the process of urban construction.
