Discussion on the Occurence of Concave Rooves in Chinese Traditional Architectures

摘要:

文章对中国传统建筑中凹曲屋顶产生原因的构造说、排水说、反向虹吸说、降低风压说、下滑力说、抗震说逐一进行了逻辑和事实的验证，并提出凹曲屋顶的发生是由于抬梁式结构产生的梁的弯矩造成的。

Abstract:

In this paper, the reasons of concave curved roof in traditional Chinese buildings are analyzed and verified by the theories of structure, drainage, reverse Siphon, wind pressure reduction, sliding force and earthquake resistance, it is pointed out that the concave curved roof is caused by the bending moment of the beam generated by the lifting beam structure.
