Abstract:Last year was the 30th anniversary of Mr. Qi Yingtao's death. It has been more than 60 years since Mr. Qi Yingtao presided over the major overhaul of the CI's pavilion at Longxing Temple in the 1950s. The temple, which he devoted himself to repairing and protecting, still attracts tourists from all over the world, it is also appreciated and studied by scholars from all walks of life. Qi Yingtao has devoted his whole life to the protection of cultural relics and Chinese classifications for architecture include: Research since he started his career more than 40 years ago. This paper focuses on his restoration project of several main buildings in Longxing temple, Zhengding, and studies his main contribution to the technical and organizational aspects of the construction of the restoration of ancient buildings, to help Longxing Monastery with the next round of repairs.
