Abstract:The existing traditional buildings in Lanzhou were mainly built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Republic of China. Under the comprehensive influence of the traditional buildings in the surrounding areas such as Linxia and Tianshui, the existing traditional buildings in Lanzhou show the characteristics of superimposition and transmutation. In this paper, we take Jinya town, Yuzhong County, a state-level National Register of Historically and Culturally Significant Towns of China in Lanzhou, as an example, and use the method of induction and analogy to study the Zhou Family Ancestral Hall, which has the highest level of shape and structure, the main shape features of the large wood structure, decoration and decoration are summarized. The purpose of this study is to explore the regional characteristics of traditional architecture in Lanzhou, which is influenced by the arts and crafts of Qinzhou and Hezhou in a multi-cultural context, and to further improve the historical theory of traditional architecture in the northwest region.
