Abstract:The ChengToushan ancient town of county Li is the earliest prehistoric city which ever discovered in the history of our country to build. Archaeological findings show that there are primitive religious worship and sacrificial sites in the chengtoushan ancient town. In this paper, based on the previous archaeological excavation, from the perspective of landscape?to systematically combing out the sites and reminds related of sacrificial offering activity within the Chengtoushan ancient town, and make a reasonable speculation that the Chengtoushan ancient town have gestated the bud of sacrificial garden. At the same time, depending on the objects of worship, the sprout of Chengtoushan’s sacrificial garden is mainly manifested in the altar temple gardens, temple gardens, cemetery three types, and analyzed its garden characteristics. It provides new archaeological historical materials and perspectives for the study of prehistoric gardens in China.
