Abstract:Based on the existing architecture of the Tang Dynasty, the architectural examples of Song and Liao Dynasties, and the contrast of the architectural styles of Ming and Qing Dynasties, the design points of the Tang Dynasty double eaves and the hall top buildings were summarized. Taking the design of a monastery in Ningbo as a case, from the layout of the buildings to the single plane and the elevation, the design of the type selection of the large wood structure was discussed, and the details of the decoration and the small wood were not discussed. It is hoped that knowledge can be drawn from historical architectural analysis and experience theory of predecessors and scholars, and the design of the pure wood structure, the double eaves, and the hall top buildings in line with Tang Feng will be sorted out.
