Abstract:Yangzhou Wuting Bridge is regarded as the city symbol of Yangzhou, it is located on the Slender West Lake, because of the shape of the lotus out of the water, so called the Lotus Bridge, commonly known as the Wuting (Five pavilions )Bridge. It is not only the isolated case in the "History of Ancient Bridge Technology in China", but also a unique masterpiece in the world. The pavilions on the Wuting Bridge was destroyed by war in the fifth year (1856) Xianfeng Qing Dynasty . At the end of the Qing Dynasty, some people repaired it, and the five pavilions on the bridge were rebuilt in the 21st year of the Republic of China. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, it was repaired 12 times. Before this renovation, the current status, wooden frame and roof of the Wuting Bridge were surveyed and analyzed in detail. And finalize the repair plan.
