砖雕制品俗称“花活”。但砖雕实际上只是“花活”中的“硬活”。从操作的意义上讲，硬花活又称为“凿活”。我国古代匠师用“镳、打、耕、画”形容凿活。硬活以砖为材料，以凿打为主要操做手法,。本文介绍“凿活”的工具及用料、一般程序和一般手法。

Abstract:

Brick carving products are commonly known as 'pattern work'. But brick carving is actually just the 'hard work' in 'pattern work'. In the sense of operation, hard pattern work is also called 'chisel work'. Hard work is made of bricks, and chiseling is the main operation method. This article introduces the tools and materials used in 'chisel work', general procedures and general techniques.
