Abstract:The puppet Manchu Imperial Palace building currently retained in Changchun is the former site of Jihei Salt warehouse, and on the basis of the original, the Tongde Hall and other buildings have been added to its current scale. The choice of this site to pseudo-imperial palace because Puyi rush to the throne. The real pseudo-imperial palace was planned from 1932, and by 1937, the planning and design were determined, and the ground was partially broken, but due to the downfall of the puppet Manchukuo government, the actual pseudo-imperial palace construction could not be implemented. The real puppet Manchu Imperial Palace is planned in the area of Xinghua Village, Chaoyang District, Changchun City, and its planning is modeled on the traditional palace layout and architectural design, and the style and shapes are similar to the Forbidden City in Beijing. Although the pseudo-imperial palace was not built, it is a precious material for the planning and design of historical palaces, which is conducive to the study of the planning and construction of Changchun in the Japanese and Pseudo-Manchu periods.
