Abstract:Located in Zhangpu County, Fujian province, the prefect Mansion was the residence of Lan Tingzhen, commander of the Taiwan Army and prefect of Fujian Naval Forces during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. The entire architecture structure is characterized by brick walls bearing purlins roof combined with through type timber frame. The building decoration of the whole house is simple and plain, and the roof decoration is concentrated on the exquisite dovetail roof ridge.
