Abstract:Taizhou City is the hometown of the famous Peking Opera master Mei Lanfang. In order to commemorate Mei Lanfang, the Mei Lanfang Historical Materials Exhibition Hall was built. Construction was carried out from March to October 1987. The main buildings of the museum are built by this city's Ming Dynasty buildings using ex-situ restoration, which not only retains the characteristics of Taizhou Ming Dynasty architecture, but also saves the cost of the project. This article specifically introduces the repair methods and specific steps of the beam frame structure of the ancient building of Mei Lanfang Historical Museum.
