Abstract:Fujian coastal Huagang rock reserves for the country's first, this area has a long history of stone building, ancient craftsmen in the long-term construction activities, accumulated a wealth of experience, created a set of relatively perfect masonry technology, in the Fujian coastal still left over the ancient stone architecture, the most well-known is from the five generations to the Ming and Qing Dynasty built stone pagodas, they represent the ancient Fujian coastal area of the huagang rock processing, carving the highest level, and in the structure and scale of the breakthrough. This article focuses on the outstanding stone carving techniques and structural techniques reflected in the stone pagodas of the Fujian area.
