Abstract:The southeast turret of Beijing city was built at the intersection of the east and south walls of the inner city of Beijing in the Ming and Qing dynasties, protruding from the huge pier outside the city wall. The building plan is curved ruler-shaped, the inner side is made of baosha, and the two sides of baosha are equipped with gates, and the doors are equipped with straight windows. It is a double eaves seven purlins Xieshan style building. The existing components are basically Qing made. In 1935, a major renovation of the turret was carried out. However, the repair was not carried out in accordance with the original formal, and there were still deficiencies.
