开元寺坐落在广东省潮州市开元路，创建年代为唐玄宗开元廿六年（公元738年），1962年公布为首批省级重点文物保护单位。天王殿位于寺内中轴线前半部，本文着重介绍了天王殿现状与残损情况，通过实地勘查和测量，确定了设计原则与修缮方法，即落架大修，同时具体介绍了主要的施工技术措施。

Abstract:
