Abstract:

Mr. B.m. Fiilden，president of British ICOMOS(International Counsil of Monuments and Sites ), in his textbook on the preservation of heritage buildings, which he has written for UNESCO(United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization), recommends that cement should not be used in the repair of heritage buildings and lists eight reasons.
