书隐楼在上海旧城东南隅，原为乾隆癸未（1763）榜眼沈初所建宅第。宅中砖雕极为精致。书院楼砖雕可作为这一时期的代表作。

Abstract:

Shu Yin Lou in the southeast corner of the old city of Shanghai, the original for residence in Qianlong Guiwei Year (1763) Built by Shen Chu who is in second place at palace examinations. The brick carving in the house is extremely delicate and can be regarded as a representative work of this period.
