Abstract:Epoxy resin adhesives surpass traditional adhesive materials in terms of compression resistance, tensile resistance, shear resistance and other properties. In order to obtain the scientific data of epoxy resin aging under natural climate, Foguang Temple in Wutai County and Houtu Temple in Jiexiu County were set as observation points. After 10 and 5 years of observation, respectively. The observation components did not find aging phenomena such as cracking and brittleness of epoxy resin, and there was no alkalinization and separation at the bonding site. This shows that epoxy resin adhesives exceed traditional adhesive materials in terms of compression resistance, tensile resistance, shear resistance and other properties.
