Abstract:Yi Pu garden is a municipal cultural relic protection unit, located in Wenya Nong No. 5. Yi Pu garden since its establishment, after the changes of dynasties, damage is extremely serious. The historic building was restored in 1982~1984. Through literature review and historical photos, as well as the site investigation, it was for sure that the building was in Ming style. Finally, according to the information, a restoration plan with architectural characteristics of the late Ming and early Qing dynasties was determined. After the restoration was completed in strict accordance with the restoration plan, the initial appearance of the garden was conserved, which has a certain historical and artistic value.
