Abstract:The Fulu Palace, located in Chengxi district, Changsha city, Hunan Province, was built during the Reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. because it was not repaired and maintained for many years, resulting in serious deterioration and was finally dismantled in 1983. Technicians through pieced together the residual wooden decoration components to restore drawing of the LoufengKe. LoufengKe is a decorative component similar to the Pingshenke (bracket sets between columns) of Doukung(bracket set) in the north. It adopts the form of layer upon layer Chutiao (extension of bracket). and its surface is only coated with transparent paint such as tung oil or light oil, without any other color paint and patterns.
