承德避暑山庄假山叠石有六十余处。山庄及外八庙的假山突出因地制宜、因景构图、因材施用的特点，且艺术形式丰富多样。假山用料全都采用了当地所产生的两类山石，突出自然野趣，与周围的环境相谐调并融为一体。

Abstract:

At Chengde Summer Resort there are more than 60s rockery , art forms rich and varied. The characteristics of the rockery in the Summer Resort and the outer eight temples are mainly reflected in adapting measures to local conditions -- all adopt two types of rocks produced locally, highlighting the natural and wild interest, harmonizing and integrating with the surrounding environment.
