岭南历史最久远、地方特色最浓厚的当属悦城龙母祖庙。龙母祖庙座落在西江北岸，庙中所祀奉的是龙母。龙母祖庙虽然所处地势较低，但因采取了一系列有效的防洪措施，故经受住了多次洪水冲淹而不毁。龙母祖庙中轴线上的主体建筑尚属完整。龙母祖庙与古越族的文化史息息相关，在岭南文化史及民族史上均有着不可低估的地位。

Abstract:

Among the traditional buildings in the lingnan area, the oldest one with the strongest local characteristics belongs to Yuecheng Dragon Mother ancestral Temple. The mother of dragons ancestral temple is located on the north bank of the Xijiang River. Temple worship is the mother of dragons. Due to its low topography, a series of special flood control measures have been taken to withstand multiple floods without being destroyed. The main structure of the temple is well preserved.
