岭南是我国南方五岭之南的概称。岭南皇家园林在我国园林史上曾经辉煌却又昙花一现。随着岭南地区经济的逐步提升、文化与艺术发展和海内外文化活动的频繁交流，岭南园林以其浓厚的地方色彩被世人所关注。岭南园林的建立可以追溯到东汉以前。庭园作为岭南园林的核心，是以建筑空间为主的造园，其特点是追求自由布局，有较明显的随意性。

Abstract:

Lingnan is the general name of the south of the five ridges in southern China. Lingnan Royal garden in the history of Chinese garden was once brilliant but flash in the pan. With the gradual improvement of Lingnan's economy, the development of culture and art and the frequent exchange of cultural activities at international, Lingnan gardens have attracted worldwide attention for their strong local characteristics. The courtyard, as the core of Lingnan garden, can be traced back to before the Eastern Han Dynasty. It is a garden based on architectural space, which is characterized by the pursuit of free layout and obvious randomness.
