A Brief Account of Restoration Design of Lokapala Hall at Fahai Temple

摘要:

法海寺为公元1439年由宦官集资所创建,现今法海寺仅存天王殿台基一座。天王殿复建设计构思采用明代建筑的风格。歇山顶屋顶，坡度和檐口起翘基本上依照清式规定。采用明式斗栱，彩画为明式雅伍墨旋子彩画，瓦顶用削割瓦加黄琉璃剪边作法。

Abstract:

Fahai Temple was built in 1439 AD, and now the ‘Tian-wang’ hall just surviving a base. The restoration design of the Tian-wang hall adopts the style of Ming Dynasty architecture. The roof is gable and hip roof style, and use Ming style bracket set and ‘Ya Wu Mo’ color patterns and yellow glazed tiles.
