Abstract:Qiu Xiapu garden is located in the east Street of Jiading County, Shanghai. It is a famous classical garden in the South of the Yangtze River. It was originally the private garden of Gong Hong, a minister of works in the Ming Dynasty, covering an area of 7.97 mu. There are more than twenty places of interest in the park. After liberation, it was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Shanghai. The garden was ruthlessly destroyed by ten years of unrest. It was renovated in 1979. 1983 Spring Festival officially opened to the public.
