我国古建筑大屋顶正脊两端张嘴向内的龙形饰物，现通称为正吻。琉璃制的正吻，随瓦的大小分有八个级别。作为屋脊两端的饰物，正吻经历了一个颇为复杂的发展过程，鸱尾演变为鸱吻，大约出现于中唐或晚唐。清代官式建筑正吻的剑把，从建筑沿革的角度分析，它却是源出于对鸱尾的保护。

Abstract:

The dragon shaped decorations at both ends of the ridge of the roof of traditional Chinese architecture are now known as the Zhengwen.The Zhengwen is made of glass, divided into eight levels with the size of the tile. As the decorations at both ends of the ridge, Zhengwen experienced a very complex development process.
