潭柘寺牌楼的修复坚决执行国家文物保护法规定，古建筑维修保养严格遵守“不改变文物原状的原则”。在资金允许的情况下，为保持牌楼原状，采用了全新的修缮方案。即搭设脚手架，用千斤顶从小额枋下把歪倾的楼顶撑起找平。截去楼柱朽烂部位，用四块瓦状钢板夹住楼柱，上抱楼柱下撑夹杆石，夹杆石内灌满了水泥，新楼柱更换完成。

The restoration project of Tanzhesi Archway is based on the principle of keeping the original state, and adopts a new repair plan: first set up scaffolding, use jacks from the roof of the tilted leveling.
