Abstract:The oldest existing stone arch bridge in China is Anji Bridge, also known as Big Stone Bridge, in Zhao County, Hebei Province. The Yongtong Bridge outside the west gate of Zhao County is most similar to the Big Stone Bridge, so it is also called the Small Stone Bridge. The other three stone arch Bridges, Lingkong Bridge, Guding Bridge and Jimei Bridge, are similar to Big Stone Bridge in main structure, but have their own characteristics in shape.
