Abstract:Chinese traditional architecture is an important part of the history and culture of the Chinese nation. Its formation and development reflect the political, economic and cultural conditions in each historical stage of China. Through investigation and study, this paper summarizes several experiences of how to protect the famous historical city from urban construction. In addition, the Beijing area draws lessons from experience at the same time, measures are taken to delimit protection zones for traditional architecture and gardens, control the height of buildings, and ensure the structural safety of ancient buildings.
