李良年《书张铨侯叠石赠言卷》中铨侯，即为著名造园叠山艺术家张然。李良年对张然的叠山艺术极为推崇。从张然开始的“山子张”的叠山手法，曾经是乾隆后期以前北京皇家园林与私家园林叠山艺术的主流，现在北京之叠造或修整假山，正需要继承和发扬“不问而知张氏之山”的高超风格。

Abstract:

The "Shan zi zhang" rockery technique of Zhang Ran, a famous gardening artist in the Qing Dynasty, used to be the mainstream of the art of rockery and stone stacking in Beijing's royal gardens and private gardens in the late Qianlong Period. Now the stacking or repairing of rockery in Beijing needs to inherit and develop the superb style.
